Hackathon Challenge – Non-Invasive Medical Device (NIMDHA-2024)
Problem statements –
* Limited Accessibility of Non-Invasive Monitoring Technologies
* Accuracy and Reliability Challenges in Non-Invasive Diagnostics
* Integration Issues with Existing Healthcare Systems
* Technological Innovation and Regulatory Compliance
* Ethical and Privacy Concerns in Non-Invasive Monitoring
It is a hackathon bringing together inter-disciplinary teams to explore medical device innovation. There are five
levels of the event, of which three are in online mode. The hackathon is open to full-time students enrolled in a
recognized higher education institute in India pursuing a UG or PG. The team should consist of a minimum of
two and a maximum of four members. Each team should have designers, and engineers. The student
whose project outcome best fits the title would be declared the winner, as determined by the jury.
Levels Justification
Level 1- Clarification related to problem statement (online), Level 2- First level idea presentation (online), Level
3- Presentation the methodology and share the final bill of materials, Level 4- Prototype development (offline)
and Level 5- Presentation of the prototype (offline).
Judging Criteria: The submission will be evaluated by external experts on different parameter, including but
not limited to the novelty of the idea/innovation, presentation, ease/cost of implementation .Timings and
solutions will both be taken into consideration when choosing the top three teams.
